  • Severe Weather Hits Area May 5th and May 7th, 2010:
    Severe weather hit Sandusky County on May 5th and 7th and our Skywarn group responded. On May 5th a severe thunderstorm watch was updraded to a severe thunderstorm warning. A Skywarn net started at 5 pm and ended at 9:40 pm with 11 check-ins and 7 significant reports. Posted 5-9-10
  • Severe weather hit Sandusky County again on May 7th. A tornado watch was issued from 3:30 to 11:00 pm. Then at 7:32 pm a tornado warning was issued until 8:15 pm followed by a severe thunderstorm warning from 8:57 to 9:45 pm. A Skywarn net started at 3:30 pm and ended at 10:09 pm with 11 check-ins and 9 significant reports. Dime size to golf ball size hail was reported in Fremont, Lindsey and Rollersville. Winds were estimated at 60 mph in Fremont. Posted 5-9-10
